Toastmasters Region IV Conference
I managed to complete a nice lap quilt for the silent auction that was held over the weekend at the Region IV Conference. It was done from several Moda Kansas Troubles charm packs. I really like the colors in that lap quilt. I added a few maple leaf buttons for embellishment for our Canadian friends. A log time District 24 Member, ended up with the quilt. I'm glad it spoke to him!

Welcome to Pat's Quilting Blog
If you are thinking that Grandma Quilter is a little old lady in a rocking chair, well not quite! I work full time, try to do a bit of genealogy, work on web pages from time to time and as often as possible, I like to make quilts. I wouldn't say that I was a great quilter or even a good quilter - no I'm grandma quilter and my grandkids love whatever I make for them.
One of my other great passions is Toastmasters. I attend my club's meetings and it is one of the best parts of my week. We laugh and learn and become better communicators. Check out our district website http://www.district24toastmasters.com it has a lot of information about clubs across Nebraska and Council Bluffs, Iowa.
