Rail fence quilt

I have been away from my log arm machine for more than a month and I need the practice before starting on a few other quilts for friends. So I decided this would be the first one to play around on before starting on the stack! Tomorrow ill work on getting it ready for binding.

Small and Vibrant

While this quilt is about a baby size and only uses 6 fat quarters it is quick to make. I used Kaffe fassett fabrics.

A Grammie and Gracie Quilt

Grace has decided to make a quilt as a gift for a family member. She needed some inspiration and we found it in a villa rosa pattern for a panel quilt. It is
turning out cute.

A new sampler

I have been thinking about making a sampler for a few months.  I'm picking patterns that are old school and classic. This quilt will go a friend and I want it suitable for a guy. The primary colors will be blues and browns. I'm not sure that I love the log cabin but this is what I have completed so far.

Home Sweet Home

Christmas came on Christmas and new years day.  Today Bea took home a quilt we worked on together and a quilt that is her Christmas gift.  I like to call this a hut house quilt.  It is colorful and fun!

When a friend asks to turn favorite things into a quilt top as a memory quilt, well you do your best.  These are Ryan's favorite things.

2023 Donation Quilts

We are getting an early start on the 2023 donation quilt! Here is a preview.  This started as a softbook with pages that somehow managed to live on my shelves for an unknown time.  I took it apart and turned it into a throw.  I think it will be cute.

Christmas 2023

I have started the 2023 donation quilt process. I have 1 pillowcase ready and 1 quilt top ready to quilt.

The quilt top was 4 pillow panels that are now a nice throw.  I try to make them at least 45 x 60.

So far, so good.

Donation Quilts

My friends who sew together monthly made a stack of quilt tops and I promised to do the quilting. These quilts are donation quilts during the Christmas season.

They will soon go to their forever home through our local VFW supply drive.

Christmas on the Prairie Quilt Show 2022

There were 73 quilts on display this year.  Personally, I brought 23. Wow. That's an armload!

The show is held on the 1st weekend in December and is located in the former Weston Presbyterian Church on the museum gounds.

Santa's belt buckle

I saw a cute pillow on Ponterest and decided to make it.  Lol.  I used 2.5" squares in various red fabrics and mismeasured my pillow.  I made it way too large.
At any rate, I managed to pull it together..   Ill make this again!

Peacock Panel

I seem to be stalled!  It is the holiday season and I am too busy!

But this one made it to the machine.

Planning to make several scrap quilts

This quilt is the 1st of many that I plan to make for youth group kids at church!
