Pioneer Sampler - 1st Friday Quilters

I sew with a great group of ladies.  Typically, we select a pattern and several of us will do "a sew along" making the same pattern in our own colorways.  A couple of years ago, we worked on an older book, "Pioneer Sampler" for our quilt.

Samplers are made up of various blocks and help us learn new skills.

The variety was just wonderful!! My quilts were closer to old school traditional colors.  I competed 2 of these quilts and just finally finished the last 2 blocks for my 3rd version.

I hope to finish the 3rd top before January 1, 2022.  We shall see!
Honestly, I wasn't crazy about 1 block to I got creative and made my own pattern!

This is a photo of the book cover.  This is a great quilt and was a great deal of fun to do with a group of stitchers!
